Musculoskeletal Conditions That We Treat

What is Musculoskeletal Condition?

Musculoskeletal conditions are injuries or disorders that affect the human body’s movement or musculoskeletal system – that is, muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves, joint cartilages and discs.

Musculoskeletal conditions are common and their severity can vary. They range from those that arise suddenly, such as bone fractures, ligament sprains, muscle/tendon strains and nerves injuries; to lifelong conditions associated with ongoing pain and disability.

Symptoms of Musculoskeletal Injuries

Common symptoms for people with musculoskeletal injuries include:

  • Pain
  • Swelling/inflammation
  • Stiffness or decreased range of motion
  • Numbness/tingling (if involves nerves)
  • Fatigue
  • Sleep disturbances
  • Headaches/migraine
  • Joint deformities such as scoliosis, bunions and knock/bow knees
The above symptoms differ from person to person, some may have more than one  but some are not.
